GOV2EU project has been successfully completed

08/03/2019

The GOV2EU project finished successfully. The main goal of this project was to promote and accelerate the uptake of electronic invoices, mainly in the health sector, according with the requirements of Directive 2014/55/EU. As a part of GOV2EU project, participant entities (mainly hospitals) adapted their ERP system to assimilate electronic invoices in the European eInvoincing estandar (EN) and developed the automated interoperation and intercommunication with the EDICOM eInvoicing platform to exchange eInvoices. As a result, all these entities are now able to send and/or receive electronic invoices compliant with the EN, with their customers and suppliers.

The project was coordinated by EDICOM, with the support of Valtiva, the Universitat Politècnica de València, SisConsult, Asseco-SK and Asseco-HU, for administrative, financial and contractual tasks.

The project concluded on February 2019, it was executed through several activities, such as coordination, legal and technical requirements analysis, implementation and conformance tests.

GOV2EU was co-financed by the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) of the European Commission, through the CEF-TC-2016-3 Call. This Call aims for the standardization of electronic invoice issuing and reception, facilitating cross-border transactions across the European Union.
